Il convegno ” Libertà delle donne nel XXI secolo. Oltre i fondamentalismi”,  che si é svolto a Roma dal 20 al 22 ottobre 2017 presso la Casa Internazionale delle Donne,  ha registrato una straordinaria presenza di donne, e uomini, che per tre giorni hanno seguito con attenzione gli interessanti ed approfonditi interventi delle tre sessioni che vertevano sul fondamentalismo del mercato nel sistema neoliberista, sull’avanzata di quello  ideologico religioso in ogni parte del mondo e sullo strapotere teconologico e scientifico (comprese le opposte reazioni antiscientiste che provoca) sul governo delle nostre vite.

Le relatrici, provenienti da diversi paesi, hanno saputo coniugare, come era negli obiettivi del convegno, l’analisi teorica con le esperienze concrete di pratiche femministe.

Ha suscitato grande commozione ed apprezzamento il docu-film “Uzak mi  (Distant)”  della regista Leyla Toprak, presente a tutte le sessioni del convegno, con la quale vi è stato un intenso confronto sulla realtà delle donne di Kobane.

Così come è stato partecipato il confronto durante la presentazione del Dossier sui movimenti femministi in Nord Africa e in Medio Oriente.

Confortate dal successo dell’iniziativa ( fortemente sperato ma inatteso nelle proporzioni) rifletteremo sulla possibilità e sulle modalità di proseguire il confronto, sempre in dimensione internazionale e con modalità inclusive, sui temi che  sono emersi con maggior forza . Temi  che verranno riportati puntualmente nel report che sarà prodotto nei prossimi giorni.

Sul blog del Convegno (www.libertadonne21sec.altervista.org) , che sarà mantenuto, verranno pubblicate tutte le relazioni presentate ed report completo dei contenuti emersi dalle giornate.

At the international meeting  ” Libertà delle donne nel XXI secolo. Oltre i fondamentalismi”, Rome, 20-22 october 2017, International Women’s House, there was an extraordinary participation of women, some men, who were following during the three days, the interesting and deep speeches in the three sessions.  About the market fundamentalism within the neoliberal system, the increase of the ideological religious all over the world and about the excessive technological and scientific power (including the opposed anti-scientific reactions) on the control of our lives.

The speakers, from different countries, have been able to combine, as it was among the objectives of the Meeting, theoretical analysis and concrete  experiences of the feminist practices.

The participants expressed emotion and appreciation for the docu-film “Uzak mi (Distant)” directed by the curd/turkish Leyla Toprak, who was attending the three sessions. There was an intense debate with her about the reality of women in Kobane. Same participation was expressed during the presentation of the Dossier about feminist movements in North Africa and Middle East.

We have been encouraged by the success of the initiative (hoped, but unattended in such dimension) we will think about the possibilities and the best ways to go ahead, with an international dimension and inclusive way, about the subjects raised in a strongest way. All the themes will be reported precisely in the report that will be posted in the next days.

The blog (www.libertadonne21sec.altervista.org) will keep working. All the presentations will be posted, with the contents raised during the three days.
